A
History of Dedicated Volunteers
Founded
in 1978 by volunteers from the community, Lakota Sports
Organization (LSO) is the area's largest youth team sports
organization. LSO offers all kids in the Lakota School
District a chance to play baseball; softball; spring and
fall soccer; and flag football at both the recreational and
competitive level.
The
Future of LSO Depends on Volunteers
LSO continues as an all-volunteer organization annually
serving over 3,000 families in the Liberty and West Chester
Townships, providing facilities, financial management, and
communications systems to our sports groups. In it’s over
25-year history, LSO has successfully provided adequate
field space for all kids registered to play sports. We offer
training to all coaches and game officials. All adult
contributors are held to a code of conduct helping to insure
a positive learning experience for all of our participants.
