Softball
Lakota Sports offers recreational fast pitch softball in the Spring & Fall seasons girls ages 5 through 16
Age Divisions: 6U (5-6 years old), 8U (7-8 years old), 10U (9-10 years old), 12U (11-12 years old), 14U (13-14 years old) and16U (15-16 years old).
Determined on January 1, of the current year (2012) for the Spring season and Jan. 1st of the coming year (2013) for the Fall season.
Registration for the Spring opens in October with a Guaranteed Placement Deadline of February 1st. Fall registration opens in April with a guaranteed placement deadline of July 15th.
Spring season run from April 1st to end of June each year. Spring practices and games are held during the week and on Saturdays and Sundays.
Equipment: In the each of the spring seasons players will receive a team jersey, shorts, socks and a visor. The only equipment players must provide is a mitt and cleated shoes.
Fall Season runs from Mid-August to Mid-October. Fall practices are held during the week and games are played on Saturdays. Practices are optional in October each Fall season.
