| In May 2005, Lakota Sports Organization (LSO) Board had a vision to better unite the West Chester/Liberty Township youth sports community and formed the LSO Organizational Development Group. Under this new committee the organization embarked upon an aggressive planning process to give the West Chester/Liberty Township community “better youth sport choices.” The strategic focus was designed to: reshape the organization into the leading non-profit organization focused on youth sports and to better accommodate the needs of the growing West Chester/Liberty Township communities. In addition the need to further develop a specific goal-oriented action plan with sufficient funding to better execute the new vision and mission; and produce and distribute a comprehensive Strategic Plan for the organization. |
| This plan is-by design- intended to give a new look to two organizations with a proud 26 year history. Major goals focus on: Adequate funding; effective community and member communications; membership services; and image & credibility. The Lakota Sport Organization has always embraced the need for a longer range vision and with this plan believes it has a three to five-year strategic plan that will take our organization to that "next level". |
